This is an email I received from a dear friend, who has asked me to share it with as many as I can, in particular, our youth. I post it here after emailing it to all I know in the hope it will reach more people. So feel free to copy it and send it or hand it out to all the youth you know. Thanks in advance, The GM.
Letter From Jesus
Hello guys. Just thought I’d drop you a few lines to let you know that I’m still here. I’m always here. If you ever need anything, just call me. I’ll be around.
Well, it seems we’re starting a brand New Year and I really appreciate some of your efforts to do better. I feel you. But, like I told you before, leave the heavy stuff to me. I know you want to help, and there’s no delicate way of saying this without hurting your feelings so I’ll just tell it like it is. I don’t need your help. I got this!!! How many times do I have to say that? It does my heart good knowing that you mean well and that you’re trying, but sometimes you get in My way and make a complete mess of things. Then you call on Me to clean it up. Which I gladly do because I love you. No hard feelings, just the truth.
Look at what happened when my brother, Martin, got gunned down for delivering My message of love? All the burnings, rioting, lootings, and retaliations really saddened My heart. If only more of you had looked to Me to fix things. I’m good at that. I knew how you all felt. Hey, they did it to Me. You’ll never know the pain and agony I endured. I hung on that cross, it seems like forever, praying to Dad to forgive y’all so He wouldn’t come and beat you all down in one mighty blow. And you know He could do it. And still can if you guys don’t get it together and act like y’all got the sense He gave you. I gotta hand it to the brothers back then, though. They had a lot of nerve. Imagine them killing Me! Me! His only Son! Boy, I prayed through a lot of blood, sweat and tears to save y’all on that one. And I’d do it again. I love you.
I don’t mean to be so harsh. I’m just telling it like it is. Something’s got to give. I don’t know how else to put it. Dad loves you guys so much. How could He not love you? He created you. And I love you, too. But, a change has got to come. I’m interceding with Dad for you guys everyday but you have to want to change yourself first. I can’t help you there. One thing I do promise, though, if you do decide to make that first step, I’ll take it from there. Then, all you have to do is ask and I’ll give it to you. If you search for something, I’ll help you find it. And if you ever knock on that door, I’ll make sure it opens to you. Yes, I can do all that and more. I got it like that. Now, call my bluff and see what I’m working with.
Well, there you have it, my brothers and sisters. Good talking to you again. Keep in touch. Next time, don’t let it be so long. I’m always here. Not just when things go wrong or when someone dies or at Easter and Christmas times. Don’t get me wrong, I cherish the love and attention I get at two of my most momentous moments, my birth and my death. Who wouldn’t? Y’all have me blushing. But do you remember what my life was all about in between the two? Hit your Big Brother up sometimes to say hello and let’s chat, or just shoot the breeze. I promise you, I’ll be here. Call Me.
Take care of yourself and each other. I’ll be watching and waiting. I love you all. Really, I do.
Jesus
(ps. Dad is an old softy. He loves you most of all and His love knows no bounds. You can trust in Him. He knows you’re going to make mistakes from time to time. He’s quick to forgive. Believe Me, I know what I’m talking about.)

TripleClicks.com president, Gery Carson, emphasizes the site’s purpose to help new artists expand their audience: “There are thousands of amazing, unsigned singers, songwriters, and bands all over the world. Beginning April 1st, TripleClicks.com members in more than 190 countries will begin listening to and voting for their favorites songs in the contest. Chronicling Our History
The Honor From Civil War to Civil Rights © compilation is a copyright prototype I, Victorio Loubriel, created. Still to be added to the Honor From Civil War to Civil Rights compilation are with over 250 more piece of my photography and images in the public domain still to be added. In development is a 5 part docu-drama with an essay styled companion book. We are losing our races history faster then we can correctly d……ocument. Throughout my life from my birth in Harlem to the rest of the world, I have traveled and filmed, photographed, recorded and essayed a major component and fabric of culture – our race of people. How history is told depends upon who’s telling it. I quote the late great Civil Rights Photographer and my friend, Dr. Ernest C. Withers, “The picture tells the story”. I ask people to friend me here on face book and follow this project on the Honor From CivilWar to Civil Rights page here on Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo and of course @ www.honorfromcivilwartocivilrights.com

Whose Body Is It
“Whose Body Is It” Is a thrilling, inspirational adaptation taken from the compelling novel “Just A Dream”, written by Parenthyis Errica G.
Taking your clothes off can be easy, but revealing your naked self to another human being is a whole other story. "Whose Body Is It" is a motivational Stage Play, with the aim of telling the story of a group of friends that have deposited their moral ethics and values into a place that keeps them in a constant struggle with the flesh and God.
Saphyre, a woman with a past of molestation and betrayal finds herself in a continuous battle with her heart and her temple, which constantly leads her to a sequence of bitterness and a random cycle of sexual affairs. Tamara, falls into the hands of an older married man, who forces her to make a decision about the life she always wanted, and the life that she has to live. Francesca has only loved one man in her entire life and now she has to learn to survive without him even if it means raising their children alone and losing everything she has come to know. Then, there is Moseay a hardworking, statically ideal man and longtime friend of the girls, who falls victim to Saphyre’s lustful desires. As we journey through their lives we explore the theories of forgiveness, the process of letting go, the power of healing and the victories of starting all over again. With the help of the debonair Mr. Westley, Detryk, and Keena we see that there may be a chance for a glimpse of happiness for all of them. The girls have to learn that the true meaning of life will progress only when they stop compromising the love they have to offer. “ Whose Body is It” is an amazing peace with a variety of unforgettable moments and life changing experiences.
The P.S.O.A.R Coalition, is a nonprofit organization founded by Parenthysis Errica Gardner. The P.S.O.A.R Coalition is in the resolute mindset of executing a conduit for the purposes of impacting lives through the performing arts and community service relations. The organization is primarily focused on educating , rebuilding relationships, mentoring the youth and young adults and creating a safe haven of release for life’s inevitable circumstances.

Dear Friend,
Over the past 17 years, individuals like you have made a difference in our community by supporting the efforts of Project GiveBack. On November 18th and 19th 2011, we will touch the community in a special way again. I invite you to partner with us, as we make this Thanksgiving Holiday brighter by providing food baskets and other necessities to local families.
I usually ask for individuals to give generously to the effort by making a pledge of $100, $500, $1,000, or the amount that people are able to contribute. Though some have seen improvements, most are still feeling the affect of the most devastating financial crisis of our lifetime. More people find themselves in a position of need. I am asking you to consider making a difference in the lives of over 1,000 families in the DC/MD/VA area. Your financial contribution not only provides support for a worthy cause; it also demonstrates your commitment to making a difference.
I also encourage you to do more than donate funds to this endeavor. Spend the day with us, deliver a basket, and see the appreciation on the faces of the families and witness the children's excitement over something as simple as a box of groceries. The families we assist face challenges most of us cannot comprehend. Seeing these challenges firsthand builds a special appreciation for what we do at Project GiveBack.
To stay in touch with our community efforts follow us on twitter (@projectgiveback), become a fan on facebook (facebook.com/projectgiveback) or visit us on our website www.projectgiveback.org Project GiveBack is a 501 (c) 3 organization. All donations are tax deductible. Donations should be mailed to Project GiveBack, Post Office Box 18781, Washington, D.C. 20036-9998. Please contact us by October 7, 2011 to inform us of your expected level of participation by phone at 202-321-1911 or by email at ransom@projectgiveback.org.
With Love,

Thursday, September 29, 2011 - 7:30 p.m.
Fast
on the heels of her last show at Ten Feet Tall, Donna, with Tony Quarrington and Jordan Klapman will be appearing at EDO on Eglinton Avenue.
When: Thursday, September 29, 2011 - 7:30 p.m.
Where: EDO Fine Japanese Dining
How: no cover; Reservations 416.322.8888 Donna and the boys can't wait to see you on September 29th at EDO. Fine music, fine cuisine!
Oh yeah...one more thing.
Donna sings regularly on Wednesday evenings at Warren James' Spotlight Music Showcase with Jordan Klapman. It's a wildly popular weekly soiree that brings a sprinkling of Broadway glitz and urbane wit to Stout Irish Pub every Wednesday night. Its a cool cabaret-type night-out enlivened by a hilariously impromptu variety show. Local musicians hit the stage alongside up-and-comers, serving up jaw-dropping music and general razzle-dazzle.
Catch Donna Live - September 17th.
Donna will be performing live again on September 17th at the Ten Feet Tall Bistro. Given the season AND the buzz about Donna's single, it's no wonder the theme might be a bit 'peachy', in fact, she is calling the show Peach Relish (who knows, you might even discover a new use for those ripening peaches). Here are the details:
When: Saturday, September 17, 2011 - 8 p.m.
Where: Ten Feet Tall Bistro, 1381 Danforth Ave., Toronto
How: Pay-What-You-Can; Reservations 416.778.7333
So, make sure you join us on September 17th at Ten Feet Tall to celebrate peach season and, well, perhaps to help usher in a mild fall. In the meantime, make sure you check out the video clip above and by all means, pass it on to your friends.
If you haven't had a chance yet, take a gander at Donna's new video You're My Summer Peach. It's the new single written and performed by Donna off her latest CD, Mav'rik. Watch Donna, and Louis Armstrong impersonator, Jon Seiger sing this amazing song

Mr Ashford was half of the wonderful Songwriting and performing duo Ashford & Simpson. The wrote many chart toppers for Motown Artists and others and were marvelous performers.
They radiated love in there writing and performances following is one of my very favorite tunes from them and then a live one. Enjoy. We Love you Nick!

This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind... let it be something good.

In our family, like many of you, we use any and every opportunity to get together. My Smallest Princess had her 2nd birthday on August 4, so that meant party today. I thought I'd share a few pictures, my memories of a good time.

This morning a got a call from a friend, she was calling to tell me that a mutual friend died last night in an an automobile accident. This friend was well liked, funny. nice, sweet and a hard worker who always had a smile and a kind word. The type of person you missed when you didn't see her. She loved her family. She left behind 5 children as well as other family members. I know she will be missed.
This catastrophe has once again put things in perspective for me. It reminded me that nothing is promised, every day is a gift and we should make each day count. We must remember to treat each other with love and compassion. Watch the words and the tone we use. Words sting and once they are uttered, we can not take them back. We need to be sure our family and friends know how much they mean to us, how important they really are.
It's okay to disagree, but let's make more of an effort to not let disagreements come between us. After all, how important are they in the bigger theme of things? We need to live everyday as if it's our last and love as if we will live forever. I realize it's a tall order but if you don't set your goals high you have nothing to strive for.
Let's be good to each other, let's be better than good to each other. Now go tell someone you love them because you never know when it will be the last time.

Our first year has been a unique learning experience and now we are ready to put forth what we have learned and make WDGP better. We have much planned for 2011, and we're off to a great start. We want to be more interactive with out listener-ship and toward that end, we are planning several events in different locales. Please keep up with news by checking this page on a regular basis.
WDGP still offers our Artists the chance to have their music heard more often then being in regular rotation for a small monthly stipend, your music can be heard here on WDGP every 3 - 4 hours around the clock.
WDGP is also offering booking assistance to Artists that wish help with booking, We realize it's very hard to do everything yourself and we want to help you succeed.
If you are interested in either of these services, please contact the General Manager via email - gm@wdgpradio.com
That's all for now. Have a positive day and make great things happen.

Hey Songwriters,
This just came across my desk and I thought you might be interested:
Indie International
We launched this website in January 2008 and are now excited to be into our 5th run. This is a new concept for songwriting contests - we limit entries, & you get to know your score and your pro judge at contest end! This is a fun and realistic opportunity to be awarded for your talent and it would be a great addition to your bio if you are one of the top 10 (out of just 150 songs) in your category.
We would love for you to check it out and see why we are different than you might expect.
Thank you for taking the time to look. Please feel free to send us an e-mail with questions/comments to info@indieinternational.com or sign up for our newsletter.

On Conversations tonight, Glenn Gordon made a suggestion that got us thinking. We want to know what you think of WDGP and we also want a consensus to the the question, "Should WDGP open a music store where you can download songs you like from our playlist?" Please complete this survey to help us decide. Thank you for your time, and as always you can listen while you complete it. Thanks again.
