On Saturday February 19, 2011 Ms Donna Greenberg, from Toronto, Ontario, returned to Conversations to talk about and share her second CD project Mav’rik.
Mav’rik is an eclectic collection of self penned hits, beautiful instrumentation and Donna’s wonderful voice. The music moves the listener, from the romantic ballads to the beautiful lullaby to fun jazz to the spiritual, it’s a great listen It is always a joy to speak with Donna, she is so passionate about music, as am I. When I asked her why she named the project Mav’rik, she didn’t hesitate to respond that she considered herself to be a musical mav’rik in that she has studied all genres and styles. Her first CD, Stranger showed us a bit of that, but Mav’rik defines HER.
This is certainly one to add to you collection:
Donna has a wonderful, beautiful voice, (reminiscent of Julie Andrews) and enjoys performing. She was Jazz vocalist of the month, October 2010. by Bob Birch Radio
