Mav’rik by Donna Greenberg

On Saturday February 19, 2011 Ms Donna Greenberg, from Toronto, Ontario, returned to Conversations to talk about and share her second CD project Mav’rik.

Mav’rik is an eclectic collection of self penned hits,  beautiful instrumentation and Donna’s wonderful voice. The music moves the listener, from the romantic ballads to the beautiful lullaby to fun jazz to the spiritual, it’s a great listen  It is always a joy to speak with Donna, she is so passionate about music, as am I. When I asked her why she named the project Mav’rik, she didn’t hesitate to respond that she considered herself to be a musical mav’rik in that she has studied all genres and styles. Her first CD, Stranger showed us a bit of that, but Mav’rik defines HER.

This is certainly one to add to you collection:

Donna has a wonderful, beautiful voice, (reminiscent of Julie Andrews)  and enjoys performing. She was Jazz vocalist of the month, October 2010. by Bob Birch Radio

She Knows.com had her as the lead Canadian entertainment story this month.

New Music from Mr. Winfield Davis

We absolutely love it when Artists pick WDGP as the place that they want to premiere their work, and since Mr Davis has been with us on Conversations several times its even more special.
Mr Davis was my first guest for 2011 and if the old wives tale is correct, then we are in for a great year. Winfield is a guest that has a large following so we love it when he visits.

Not only did we have a great conversation, as always with Mr. Davis, he chose to share a few tracks from his soon to be released project “Ethereal Journey”. I would give you more details but I want you to listen to the interview.

Courtney E – Welcome to the Miseducation of Hip-Hop

Ms Courtney chopped it up with host Diana Broomfield on “Conversations” and shared her finished project “Welcome to the Miseducation of Hip-Hop”

It is a CD full of encouragement and positivity, just as the Artist intended. It is so refreshing to talk to and hear this young lady’s style. But you needn’t take our word on it, just listen to the interview and make your own decision. I would certainly encourage my kids to listen to her music. It has all the infectious beats that the less desirable artists use to get their (children) attention with none of the wrong messages they deliver, but again listen and decide for yourself.
