The last time we spoke to Winfield Davis, he told us he was looking to find Musicians to go on tour with him. That was just a couple of weeks ago. Imagine my surprise when he informed me a few days ago that he would have some other guest with him on the show last nightand the band was complete. Now this is a goal oriented Musician who has many flavors and layers to his music already, on a mission to put together a band that will work well together and one in which each band member will bring a little flavor of their own to the musical blend that is Winfield Davis Band and Show. The other members of the Band are Jeff Kemper on Bass, Mike Alpi on Guitar and Keyboards, Joe Santangelo on Drums, Frank “Franky the Keyboard Man” Macaganone Jr on Keyboards.All of them are veterans of their craft and I for one am very eager to sample the stew. Now as a Single woman, I’d have to say I really enjoyed Winfield and the Boyz. It was fun and I can’t wait to go to the Bermuda JazzFest. Maybe I’ll see you there?
